Your customer's next emergency, while it's still a scheduled job.
Barometer puts low-cost sensors in the homes you already service, watches them around the clock, and sends the job to you first — before they Google someone else.
You only hear about it after the damage.
The tank fails at 11pm
They call whoever answers first
You lose the job and sometimes the customer
The failure was building for days. Nobody was watching.
The same failure, two ways.
How it works
- 1You install the kit
20 minutes, in homes you already serve.
- 2Barometer watches
Water, sump pump power draw, temperature, humidity, 24/7.
- 3You get dispatched first
The alert goes to your queue before it becomes an emergency.
Your job queue, ranked by what needs attention first.

How Barometer talks to you.
The short version.
You get the first call. Every time.
Nobody can honestly promise you a customer for life — anyone who does is selling you something. What we can promise is that you hear about the problem before anyone else does, in every home you install.
First look on every alert. You get a 20-minute exclusive window before it opens to anyone else — and it only opens if you don't take it.
No lead fees, no bidding, no marketplace auction.
You invoice the repair. We never take a cut of your work.
Your customer can always choose someone else, exactly like today. You're paying to hear about it first.
Six reasons shops sign up.
Stop losing customers at 11pm
You looked after that house for fifteen years. The tank goes on a Saturday night and they call whoever picks up. You never even hear about it.
One job pays for the kit
$220 once, at our cost, no markup. One water heater or furnace job covers it and then some. Everything after that is yours.
No junk calls
Two sensors have to agree and the homeowner has to say yes before your phone rings. When it rings, it is real work.
Your techs stop selling
He arrives with the readings on his screen. He is not talking anyone into anything. He is showing them what changed.
You're building something you can sell
A book of homes with your sensors in them and first call on every failure is worth more than a list of old invoices. That matters the day you sell the business.
First shop in wins the street
Whoever puts sensors in a neighbourhood first knows what is going wrong there before anyone else does. That lead does not go away.
What it costs.
Two numbers. Both per home.
No platform fee. No contract. No lead fees.
You already hand a member a $599 credit toward their next changeout to keep them. This is a third of that, and it works every day instead of once.
15 founding contractors. Edmonton.
- First six months of monitoring free

Questions we hear a lot
$220 per home for the kit, at our cost, ten homes to start. Then $13 per monitored home per month — $19 is the standard rate; founding contractors are locked at $13 for two years and pay nothing for the first six months. No platform fee, no contract, no lead fees.
Why I'm building this
I'm an engineer. I built health monitoring systems for drones — the kind that tell you a motor is going to fail before it does — and I ran a provincial commercialization program helping hardware companies get to market. I'm building Barometer because the same idea works on a house.
The first monitored home is mine. Come watch a real alert fire.
